<- Kia had the idea of cutting acrylic into mosaic pieces and painted the different images onto the acryllic. We needed to find out which type of paint would need to be used in order to do this.

I did some research and found out that you would need a certain type of paint to paint on the plastic. Normal oil based paints wouldn't be suitable. The only available paint to use on plastics is in the form of a spray. There is also a paint specifically created for arts and crafts. It is a liquid metal that can be any colour which could be used for this idea. However, it wouldn't be practical to get the paint of the internet because it means we can't test it. The idea however was very imaginative. (IE2)(TW6)

She also thought of having the writing made with wood and covered in a black cloth to make it stand out. Black cloth would be very easy to get  and we have plenty of wood at school so this could be a very good idea.

For this idea we would need:

  Red acryllic which we have plenty of at school. We may need to order a big sheet though.

  One of the appropriate paints which can only be brought on the internet so unless we can find it in shops it may not be a good idea.

  Black cloth, available at HobbyCraft or any other craft shops ad red tissue paper is available in most places and they're usually quite cheap.
• 
  
  Wood, we would have to make the choice of wood if we choose this idea, it would need to be thick and easy to cut.
